Yeah, sorry. I only went and set up a Tumbelog today. Have to say, I like it a bit more than this one, and will probably use it a lot more.

Go and have a look here, follow me on that one instead, it will be much better like.

I think I should perhaps maybe abandon this blog and get a tumblr one. Although I don't say much, I feel that perhaps more people will see me not saying much there rather than here.
We shall see.
Decided to be slightly productive and download albums by St. Vincent and 13 & God. Yay. I'll let you know when I get round to listening to them. Got the Born Ruffians album the other day too. Which I forgot about.
Getting music is fun.

Albums that I want to get but can't be bothered buying

There are a few records that I want to get/would quite like to hear. Annoyingly though, they are all either too expensive for me to want to buy legally, and impossible to find online. I don't know if I should just compromise and pay for them like a good boy or just give up hope. Anyway, the ones I want are thus:

MGMT - Congratulations (purely for curiosity's sake. The first album is OK and I just want to see how much of a mind-fuck this is in comparison)
The National - High Violet
The Baseballs - Strike!
The Soft Pack - S/T

I'm sure there were more. Maybe it's just that I haven't bothered trying to find the others. I should try harder I think. But I can't be bothered as of late. I'm sleepy.

Hey would you look at that. That last post was only my 50th entry. In just over 2 years. That's kind of bad. Seems like so much longer ago that I set this up though. Ah well.

Female Artists

On my last.fm page (user: mattme24 since you ask) in my top 50 artists, there is only one female act. That being Regina Spektor. At number 49. I should probably listen to some more female musicians. As a result. Got Laura Marling on right now. Will see how it goes but I kind of want to listen to the latest Gorillaz record too.
Fuck.

I hardly ever blog any more.

Rob Evans and his Pop Scenesters Tumblog have made me realise this.

Will this mean I start blogging more? Probably not. Oh well.
